The Troupe Master's Summons
An invitation received by the Actors, summoning them to prepare for a grand performance.

The Troupe Master's Summons

Yes, you, little Actor going through this readable item with tears streaming down your face. Dry those eyes, because I have an invitation just for you!
The bell ringing in the end of the century is nearly upon us, and the curtain is rising. I'm not here inviting you to mourn, but to celebrate. Fold away those poems of penance and put them at the stern of the gondola. I'll tell you this: When the inevitable moment arrives, on some night, we will put on... a magic showperformance that will draw the attention of the whole universe!
Put on your mask (whichever, whether it's from your forgotten homeland, or from a star you have yet to reach), but don't let it make you weep. In the cracks of the arcadia and the Phantasmoon, in every collapse and every rebirth, I see that sorrow and joy are two sides of the same coin, and both shall rest upon the fingertip of Elation.
I invite you to dance with the Fools, and head to the World's End.
I invite you to sing with the Actors, and beckon the applause and the curtain call.
Come! The tavern doors are wide open!
The stage awaits you!

P.S. Spoiler alert: This show doesn't end in tragedy.
